Friends & Family Coffee Afternoons – Sunshine, Cake, and Community Spirit
As the sunshine returns, we've been making the most of the lovely weather by hosting our much-loved Friends and Family Coffee Afternoons! These events are a reminder of the joy that comes from bringing people together— stories, laughter, and of course, cake.
Our homes were filled with freshly baked treats made by the people we support with help from staff. Everyone was involved, and everyone was excited to invite friends into the home.
These afternoons offered a chance to pause, relax and spend time together in the sunshine, surrounded by the warmth of our community.
We were thrilled to welcome not only friends and family, but also members of our local community like fellow sport team mates and neighbours.
We’re also proud to share that thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised £52.70 for the WellBoring charity—an organisation we learned about during Green Week, which works to bring clean water to communities in need. It was a beautiful example of how a small gathering can make a big difference.
